Heavy rains continued to disrupt the normal life in Mumbai on Sunday. After heavy rain overnight, Mumbai train traffic was heavily disrupted in the city. On Saturday, thousands of passengers were stranded at railway stations following a heavy downpour. Two deaths were reported on Saturday, and three people were reported missing. IMD predicted heavy rainfall in the city on Sunday
The weather department has also predicted high tide of 4.5 metres plus is expected on Sunday afternoon.

The National Social Security Fund NSSF, has recorded a reduced over all income of a staggering 402.8 Billion Shillings, now attributed to a decline in regional equity prices and currencies. NSSF's Managing Director Richard Byarugaba, issued a caution this morning ahead of that Fund 's Members Conference will next week, that the new interest rate to savers,  will be lower than last year's 15% rate. However, the Fund's assets under management has increased by 13.1% from 9.9 Trillion to 11.3 Trillion shillings as of June 30th 2019 in part due to increased contributions and interest income.
